ABOUT
Who I Am
I’m an entrepreneur, professor, and coach. I teach Sports Management at St. Augustine’s University, an HBCU, and am currently pursuing my doctorate in Sports Management.
What matters to me? Being able to see where change can have the most impact. I care for people, and the communities I come from, therefore I see sports as an outlet to make that impact.
My Story
Leader
I lead by focusing on people. Understanding business competence, using marketing tools, and understanding corporate responsibility initiatives is at the core of my sports leadership. My experience includes using my community connections to build your brand, and engage with your clients. Leadership in sports is about seeing where our influence and focus can be implemented into partnerships with sporting organizations.
Speaker
Educator
I am a sports educator. I understand the difference between community sports and corporate sports, and how it can play a part in our community and society today. I design programs, and implement strategies to build the world’s next sports leaders. Beyond my position at St. Augustine’s University, I’ve worked with several Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU). My work here is focused on training the new generation of sports leaders that can lead organizations and their sports initiatives.
